*************ABOUT Fiji******************   Everyone by now has heard about the coups.  Fiji seems to have them like some countries have elections.  This one looks like it might stay awhile and virtually all the expats and long time residents; those who for generations have lived here all seem to agree.  “Frank” saved the place and is doing a good job.  The incredible corruption that finds its way into a government, every government, can get cleaned up if that is the demeanor of the leader.  So it appears is the case with this leader.  Interestingly, the very thing that attracts some to seek a haven from their homelands, so does Fiji seem to want the same distancing from these same homelands.  You can judge that by the negative press in Australia and New Zealand, who can’t seem to get into the pants and minds of Fiji these days.  Fiji and its occupants may well be an island entire to itself one day, deliberately removed from the element so many are turning away from—the Western World.
